Welcome!
Hi, I’m Dana a mum of three (ages 1, 3, and 10), a country music lover, a book enthusiast, and a passionate advocate for child development and playful parenting.
I have worked for many years as a Mental Health Clinician supporting children and adolescents with complex emotional and behavioural needs. With a background as a Child Therapist and extensive experience walking alongside families, I understand how challenging and meaningful parenting can be, particularly when mental health concerns or developmental differences emerge. My approach blends evidence-based therapies with practical, playful strategies that families can easily weave into everyday life.
My professional background:
I hold a Bachelor of Psychological Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Redesign, and a Master of Social Work. I am also completing a Graduate Certificate in Play and Art Therapy. I have undertaken specialist training in Infant Mental Health, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). These foundations allow me to offer holistic, trauma-informed, and compassionate supports tailored to each child and family.
At Our Mindful Time, I offer:
✨ Therapy sessions uniquely shaped around the needs, strengths, and developmental stage of your child
📚 Digital resources including workbooks, guides, and sensory-friendly tools to support learning and emotional regulation at home
🎥 Online courses and memberships (coming soon!) designed to empower parents of neurodivergent children and help families build confidence, connection, and resilience
Whether you’re navigating big emotions, supporting neurodiversity, rebuilding routines, or wanting to deepen connection with your child, I’m here to help. You don’t have to do this journey alone.
If what you’ve read resonates with you, I’d love to connect and support your family in making time for what matters most Our Mindful Time.
